The Xbox 360 Console is getting some more new software upgrades as Microsoft has announced that they are going to bring Silverlight (their version of Flash) to the Xbox 360. With Silverlight, video could be presented through Xbox LIVE with 1080p HD and full 5.1 Surround Sound. Not only that, but advertisers would also have a whole new platform to work with in bringing you ads on the Xbox 360 (...), also in high definition. The ads, according to Sean Alexander (Director of MS Advertising Business Group) will allow for user interactivity, which seems like cool thing. Not really sure how I feel about all the advertisements though. The Silverlight technology is set to hit the Xbox 360 sometime within this year.
