Well not quite yet, but a post on Xbox sure tells us when to expect this Gears of War Map Pack to be free, and it's quite a shift from the original pricetag of 800 MS Points. Anyway onto what you want to know, according to Microsoft the maps are going to be free beginning on September 3, 2007 starting at 2:00 AM PDT. Get ready to pwn, for a bit cheaper (If you haven't already purchased the Pack, and if you did, well I wouldn't expect a refund...) And PC gamers, expect your Gears of War Fix this November with 5 new campaign chapters as well as a new game type and a game editor.
