Guitar Hero II + Song Packs= Multi-platnum
Activision had put song packs for Guitar Hero II way back in April. Well they were a success. There were over 650,000 song packs sold. That means for individual tracks, there were two million songs sold. For people not familiar with the Record Industry, that’s multi-platinum, the highest award an album could get. Red Octane has been very happy with the success of their game, seeing as how the song packs have been in the ranks of the highest downloadable content bought off the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. This also delivers feedback on what the gamers want so they can keep pumping out more great song packs. Keep up the good work!
